After selecting the sites, the Encounter form provides a list of the sites at the top of the form. HistoryThe patient's medical history is recorded in detail, including past and current medical problems, family history, current medications, allergies, and social history. NeurologicalThe Neurological section records extensive information about the various sensory systems, including the 12 cranial nerves and other parts of the nervous system. ExtremitiesThe Extremities window provides information about critical parts of the body, such as the cervical spine, upper extremity, and lumbosacral spine. Dynamic ReportingDynamic Reporting lets the the Pain Management specialist view reports about the patient dynamically, as information is entered into the Encounter form. Assessment and TreatmentThis section has a built-in database with an extensive list of items for assessments, medications, CPT codes, and tracked data. Lab ReportsA variety of reports show lab and test results help the Pain Management specialist decide the best course of treatment. ReferralsThe Referral letter feature enables the Pain Management specialist to send referral letters to other care providers via e-mail, fax, or e-fax. One or more sections of an encounter can be attached to the letter; the recipient can then be selected by using a convenient drag-and-drop mechanism. MessagesUsing the Messages section, the Pain Management specialist can send messages to office administrators as well as e-mails to other care providers. The window displays a list of all of the sent and received messages, and contains a comprehensive address book. |
