At Advanced Data Systems (ADS), all aspects of legal compliance are very important to us, and full HIPAA compliance is a top ADS priority. ADS is proud of the fact that we have never missed or failed to make a governmentally required change in our application software in almost three decades of operation, and achieving HIPAA compliance has been no different.
All ADS application software modules which are required to comply with HIPAA regulations are fully HIPAA-compliant, and as per long standing ADS policy, all ADS application software updates - including governmentally required changes such as HIPAA - are made available to our clients at no additional cost.*
In addition to our application software, please be aware that ADS as a company is also HIPAA compliant. All appropriate ADS personnel have been trained by certified HIPAA experts and attorneys regarding the safeguarding of our clients’ patient data. This training is held on an ongoing basis to ensure that ADS employees are aware of the latest HIPAA requirements. ADS also maintains two on-staff HIPAA Privacy Officers to ensure that proper ADS internal procedures and practices are maintained with regard to HIPAA, and HIPAA Business Partner Agreements and Privacy Statements are provided to our clients.

*ADS clients having a current Telephone Support and Software Updates Agreement receive at no additional cost all ADS application software enhancements for the Modules currently being used by the practice. As well, all governmentally required changes such as HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid format changes, etc. are also provided to such clients at no additional cost as part of having a current Telephone Support and Software Updates Agreement.
